Singing for me is an expression of what is happening on the inside. To certain people they’re different songs that touch someone else’s heart, depending on their life situation. For others it’s an absolute skill, for someone like me it’s a moment where I fully zone out when i sing. I feel the writers song and music, and I take it and make my own version. But I dive into the lyrics and the true meaning behind it all, it’s a zone that I never enter anywhere else but until I sing.

After having to take a full year of vocal rest and 3 years of barely singing a proper C# note. I am finally able to sing that note powerfully and even sing in a Bb wow. THANK YOU MAX, been using your exercises a year now. Finally, my voice is starting to feel amazing again. 4 years after vocal damage.

I got three lessons with Mark about 30 years ago! I could not believe how much my voice improved. Anyone who lives in the Boston area or can get there, should consider lessons I’m quite sure he’s still teaching full-time.

I don't have a deep answer. What I feel is Singing is expressing different emotions in melodic and pleasing way. Even if I can't make a big difference to the society, it kills me inside if I don't sing for myself and for others. I don't know the actual reason for that.

What effect does coffee have on a voice in the long term? What's your experience with that?

Hello Mark! Do you think there is a limit for what a voice can reach? That is; even if you continue to train it every day. If you take painting for example; I became quite good at it the more i trained. Logic tells me that it is no different from no matter what you try to become good at. But of course, I could be wrong.

Singing is a feeling of freedom for me. I forget my problems and or concerns!

Mark turned me into a confident singer I just did what he told me and asked allot of questions, do it daily and wow the results are incredible I feel proud of my voice and constantly get compliments Where as I use to struggle and hide waiting for the guitar solo to rescue me

For me it is a desire; a passion to sing and without that it would not work. To reach those beautiful tones is what drives me and give me these multitudes of wonderful feelings that true music consists of. It is almost like an entity itself when it comes from your soul.
